This morning I talked with Marilyn, who was trying to load her car in the cold, icy weather.  Her plans to get an early start tomorrow may depend on how long it takes to chip the ice from her windshield.  Unfortunately the weather here for the dog show isn't going to be our usual delightful "sunny and warm" so she's going to have to add some rain gear.  Poor Frannie - her first two dog shows also had crappy weather, so she may decide at some point that she doesn't want to do this any more!

Also chatted with Tami, who has finished with her radiation treatments and is starting to get her energy back.  I'm looking forward to my trip to see her in March during the bluegrass festival in Lake Havasu City, and hope the weather gets straightened out by then.  Leah made the move to NYC recently, and is loving the city (though not the weather they're currently having!)

I spent the rest of the day cleaning house - it definitely needed it, and I made a major dent in it.  We did actually get the rain that was predicted so it was a good day to be inside.
