Feeling a tad foolish... we've all 'sewn' without thread or bobbin, but this morning I forgot that we hadn't reloaded the machine after Patti used it the other day, and tried to sew without both, setting a new personal record.

The good news is that once I remedied that, I made good progress.  Each of my 72 blocks will use all 9 colors, and due to the construction of this particular block I will be making them in groups of 9.  Here it is only mid-morning and I'm halfway through the process for the first batch.  With a little luck that means I might finish up those first 9 blocks tomorrow morning!
