Did some vacuuming this morning.  Have tried to get Sapphire to stop shedding, but she isn't cooperating. 

It's SO much easier to get stuff done early when I'm up and have some energy - and no one is sleeping. (Lisa is in Flag and Alex went to the midnight showing of the new Batman movie and then stayed over at a friend's place.) 

Just got back from the movies - went to see Brave with Patti. 

The storyline was very entertaining, and the movie has an excellent message. It's also just incredible how realistic animation has become.  (If you're thinking of going and taking small children, be warned that there are some scenes with the bears that could frighten them.)

Irrigation is early tomorrow morning, but we drew a much better time slot than last time. I'm virtually never still asleep at 6:45 a.m. 

(And yes, it IS supposed to rain this weekend.)
