Show & Tell at Pam's

It was a delightful morning at Pam's country home!
Here are the other four ladies who, under duress, allowed me to snap their photo in the kitchen (I, of course, am behind the camera):
Betty, Joni, Michelle (Joni's daughter), and Pam
before we dove into those yummy snacks Pam had set out for us.

Pam's house is filled with quilts and other country items.  Following are a small sampling of some of them.

Love this watermelon quilt in her entry way!

There are samplers tucked here and there all over the place, but in one room there's an entire wall devoted to them.

Several rooms sport a cradle or baby bed, with miniature quilts.

Hooked rugs (made by Pam) are scattered throughout the house.

I noticed at least two stoves, with 'fake' fireplace mantels:

These gems occupied a small space between rooms.

Pam likes dollhouses; she has several antique ones
and this newer one that she remodeled inside.  Notice the newspaper outside the front door.

These probably don't qualify as dollhouses, but I liked them anyway.

Did I mention that Pam does beautiful applique?  This quilt will be spectacular!

Lots of drawers and cubbies abound, like these:

There are various collections wherever you look.  One shelf up high has old sewing machines, and one of the pincushions in this grouping is exactly like one my mom used years ago.

Fun items include this dressmaker's form (that may get dressed up with a witch's hat and spend Halloween on the front porch.)  Pam thought it needed a 'little something', and added the old photos to it.

Plenty of signs with 'words of wisdom' on the walls.

And of course there are quilts everywhere.

Hard to tell in this picture because of the backlighting, but those are quilting books below the quilts.

We all got a chuckle out of this.  The quilt top hanging in the background is one that Joni made for Pam.  Joni wasn't that happy with it - until she saw how nice it looks in Pam's house!

It was a wonderful visit, and a big THANK YOU to Pam for sharing with us!
