This morning I did my monthly stint as the Word Wizard at school.  The kids were thrilled to see me, and I certainly enjoyed it also.  Then I came home and slept all afternoon (possibly from the pain meds - I put my back out yesterday.) 

Tonight Tom and I watched It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World on TV. 

 

We hadn't seen it in a while (we used to watch it every New Year's Eve when the kids were little) and it was still good for a laugh.  I saw it at the theater when it came out (1963), and I still remember how my dad laughed so hard he almost fell out of the seat.
