Still very cold here, and definitely NOT the type of winter weather to which we here in Phoenix have (lovingly!) grown very attached!

Yesterday I finished up blocks 37-45, so now
I only need to construct 4 more blocks 
and then I can go back to (reasonably) mindless sashing.

Last night Tom watched my current Netflix Ruby Sparks with me.

Not only did he refrain from making his usual snarky comments during the movie (and no, he's no longer on heavy-duty mind-altering pain killers)

but admitted after the movie that he actually enjoyed it.
Will wonders never cease?
