I was so pissed off at Senator Rand Paul that I blasted off a letter-to-the-editor, which I have just been informed is being 'considered for publication'.  Here's my letter:

Just want to make sure I have this correct. Even though teachers are no longer allowed to give an aspirin to a student with a headache, or hug students who are having a difficult day, Senator Rand Paul thinks they should be allowed (or even encouraged) to keep a loaded gun in their desks?! I can't be the only one who sees that as a recipe for disaster! What has happened to common sense?!  Bobbi Levy-Dodge
