Since this whole 'adventure' started in December I've lost count of the times I've had a needle stuck into my arm (numerous blood tests, various tests such as MRI, CT, MUGA, 2 surgeries, etc.) All along I've been 'warning' the various technicians that my veins tend to roll (or worse, collapse) but nobody seemed to have any trouble, so today I finally quit mentioning it.
So (naturally!) today the phlebotomist didn't strike gold on her first stab - or even second - and had to bring in her heavy hitter 'Superman'; happy to report that the third try was indeed the charm.
Now just have to wait until tomorrow for the results.
