Bill arrived around 9:00 this morning,
and here's what things looked like before he began.

First the windows came off

and hopefully somebody will be able to use them.

There was some talk yesterday of trying to salvage the gazebo, but my feeling is that the wood is old and cracked, and despite the structure's cuteness had simply outlived its usefulness.

Next all the stuff underneath had to be removed.
Here's how things looked when I left for the gym -

and by the time I returned an hour later,
the tub itself had been sawed into quarters for removal.

About that time Marcie dropped off Latina, and soon after Wanda came and picked us up.  Latina behaved beautifully on the drive to Carefree, and also during both stops - the first at Jessica's studio to pick up the red-and-white quilt of Wanda's that she'd quilted, and then at Wanda's daughter's store to show it off.  Jessica does stunning work, and the quilt turned out gorgeous.  (The pix from my flip phone do NOT do it justice!)

By the time we got back to the house, this is all that was left!

Wanda (who had delivered the "used" chocolate cake and "used" coffee cake when she arrived) took home some lemons... though not nearly as many as we need to get rid of!  Shopping in Bobbi's Boutique <g> she also found a couple of pieces of fabric that we both hope will work for a charity quilt she's finishing up.

Latina was excited to see her mom when Marcie arrived -
but considerably less so to leave the 'park' a bit later.
