Voting this morning turned out to be quite a hassle (won't go into the aggravating details) but at least I got it done.  Sadly, early election results this evening aren't looking too good.

I got better news when Tami called to give me an update after her visit today with the doctor.  Things sound very encouraging (they seem to have caught it early, and she may not have to have chemo) and her lumpectomy surgery is scheduled for Monday.  

After I got my errands run I rewarded myself with a gyro for lunch.  It sure tasted good - but soon afterward my stomach was not at all happy; apparently something did not agree with me.  

I did get a little sewing done today, but still feel lousy so it's off to bed.
