The closed-caption device worked (sort of) yesterday during the trailers - but as soon as the movie started the device went blank.  (Technology really does seem to hate me, Marilyn!)  At least I received two more free movie passes because of the malfunction - but would rather have been able to understand all the dialogue.

Afterward Patti and I went to lunch across the parking lot at Chili's, where we shared a (large) burger in order to leave room for dessert, a decadent chocolate concoction.  At least my dinner was healthier, 15-bean soup that had been simmering in the crockpot all day.  As predicted it was chilly (by Phoenix standards) yesterday, and Pokey has moved into her heated crate.

Did I mention that SnowBowl (up in Flagstaff) got some snow?
This pic was taken Sunday morning.

We had a (small) possibility of rain here, but that never materialized.

On the agenda today is lunch with Teresa, and then a last-minute emergency visit from the exterminator.  I found a ball of wrigglers (maggots?) from a sudden hatch of something - but there was nothing else (no dropped food, no dead bug) nearby, so tis a puzzlement!
