My session at the gym went about as expected this morning.
Which could be a great incentive to show up more often... <g>

While I've been off having fun, Jim mentioned that he went to a memorial service for one of his clients, who lost her (second) battle with breast cancer at the young age of 49.

In happier news, the arborist from The Hungry Tree was here to see if anything could be done about the ailing cottonwoods; the woodpeckers have really done a job on them! I was thrilled when Juan said they are savable, since the afternoon shade on the pool in the summer is wonderful!  (Of course it wasn't cheap... but then what is these days?)

First he drilled holes and then inserted two different types of pellets; one has copper, manganese, iron, aluminum, nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, zinc, etc. to help the tree to recover, and the other (with a very long chemical name) will give a bad taste so the woodpeckers/bees will stay away.
