I went to bed again last night around 10:00 with the election still unresolved.  When I woke at 3:00 am I didn't even bother to check the situation, just took a magic pill to go back to sleep for another several hours.  And when I awoke this morning I still didn't turn on the TV until after I'd sipped my coffee.

And guess what?  Here it is 8:00 am and things are still up in the air.

To  distract myself from the absolute horror 

that half of America is voting for tRump 

I will TRY to relax in the hot tub, 

and then finish up Melodie's quilt this morning. 

But here's the incredibly sad truth about a country I have a hard time recognizing these days.

His voters can no longer hide behind excuses about the corruption of Hillary Clinton or their willingness to take a chance on an unproven political novice. They cannot feign ignorance about how Trump would rule. They know, and they have embraced him."
