Good news - I finished that errant block:

But the "not quite so good" news is that it's only block #4, 

and not #5 as I had previously thought.

Brownie has landed himself in the doghouse.

That's because all of a sudden he’s decided that the horse pasture next door falls into “his” playground area.  For the past year he’s been wonderful about staying on our property and not heading over there, so this new behavior is surprising. 

Bottom line is that for the time being he's "quarantined" 

and no longer allowed to accompany me when I go out the gate.

Just how long will his grounding last?
