The new fence is looking great! The guys will be back next week to finish:
stucco, painting, and then putting the slats/gate back up.
Happily the project has gone SO much faster than we were led to believe,
Mary has arranged for someone to come to watch over Jack for several hours, four days a week, allowing her to get out of the house for errands and appointments. So she stopped in for a visit yesterday, and Marcie joined us. A strong woman who can still put a smile on her face, Mary is dealing well with the situation, though Marcie and I commiserated with her about all the other aggravating things (like cancelling the car Jack leased, and his cell phone, etc.) that are being made MUCH harder than they should be. 'Pretty sure' Mary could do without all the added stress as she deals with the sorrow of losing Jack!
Forgot to mention that when I went out in the yard with Brownie early yesterday morning I got an awesome view on the moonset, a flaming orange ball sitting on the horizon. So far this morning the full moon (this month it's the Wolf Moon) is still fairly high in the sky, but I'm hoping for another spectacular image as it sinks to the ground. Pretty sure we have no wolves around - but there could be coyotes....
I still need to get organized for today's Sewcial.
Yesterday's calendar page may help explain my recent lack of motivation?
