Yesterday afternoon I was really dragging (that often happens on gym days) and ended up dozing off and on in the afternoon while watching Animal Cribs on TV.
Antonio Ballatore is the winner of HGTV’s Design Star and the host of The Antonio Treatment. On his new show Animal Cribs, he is taking on a variety of—shall we say?—exotic clientele, planning and executing renovations for homeowners that put their pets front and center (while still making it work for the whole family).
I had planned to attend neighborhood Bunko last night,
but was just too tired.
but was just too tired.
In fact by 8:00 I was struggling to stay awake, and didn't quite make it to 9:00.
Updates on Mom yesterday were not particularly encouraging, and included a blood infection and possible pneumosepsis and congestive heart failure.
Pneumonia is the major cause of sepsis, responsible for almost one-half of all sources of infection. Sepsis and septic shock lead to organ failure and death. Spreading of microorganisms and their toxins through the blood could contribute to the organ dysfunction.
I did connect with Mom this morning (she had heard the phone ringing yesterday, but it wasn't anywhere she could reach it) thought it was a short conversation because after just a few minutes she was worn out from talking. Of course she had just finished physical therapy, the first time she'd been out of bed since she arrived at the hospital in the middle of the night Wednesday.
Still no word from Andy
as to whether I should fly in now instead of waiting until May.
