Last night I set my alarm for 5:30 

"just in case" I wasn't awake to let irrigation go at 5:48.

I never fell back asleep after my 3:30 bathroom sortie, so at 4:18 I bundled up and walked out back to see if the water was on time (it arrived right on schedule) and if the taller block box keeps it contained (it does - and one block layer would have done the trick, so three was overkill.)

Once back inside I didn't even try to go back to sleep, and was working on this post when I got a text from my brother: Mom admitted to hospital last night because of difficulty breathing. Diagnosed with pneumonia. Seems to be resting comfortably.

NOT good news!
