I'm feeling excited this morning!

I've sewn together the three books on the right side!

(And yes, I noticed the yellow book is upside down in the photo.)

Naturally I wanted to share my progress... 

But instead of a comment like "it's nice and bright and cheery", or even "that looks like a lot of work", Tom's sole comment was "it's very busy" - which (to me!) sure sounds a lot more like a criticism than a compliment.

Although after all these years 

Now to tackle the books on the left side!

Once that's done I plan to reward myself with some TV 

as I get to work removing all the paper from the backs.  

  

Depending on how that goes <g> the sides might even end up attached to the quilt today!
