At PT we tried dry needling, which is a lot like acupuncture. Wish I'd gotten pix of the 9 needles in my leg - and really wish it does the trick!
Dry needling treats muscle tissue, and its goal is to reduce pain, inactivate trigger points and restore function. It rarely is a standalone procedure. Rather, it often is part of a broader physical therapy approach incorporating other traditional physical therapy interventions into treatment.
Brownie had his first date with Sassy this afternoon.
They played together just fine.
She was quite intrigued with Pokey.
And was rather vocal about it.
Pokey didn't seem to care.
Not even when Sassy stole some of her cantaloupe.
