I got a short text from Mary before they hopped onto their first flight (to South Africa) which isn't too long.  When they land they'll have about three hours before their next flight (to New Jersey), which is a "bit" longer... 16 hours (!)  I do not envy her that flight.  

They'll land at the crack of dawn Friday, but at least have over 24 hours to (somewhat) recover before the flight home to Arizona on Saturday.

There was another hiatus is Susan's e-mails (again due to wifi issues) and then three came this morning.  She really has done a spectacular job of sharing the trip with those us not lucky enough to experience Africa ourselves, but (once Mary recovers from jetlag, and catches up on some things at home) I am looking forward to hearing about it from her point of view!

Mary didn't make it into too many of Susan's photos (at least the ones she's taking with her phone and able to share), but no surprise that my favorite was this one that got 'photo-bombed'.

I'm showered and dressed, and (more or less ready to head out to PT this afternoon) so time to turn on the sewing machine and miter.
