When our water never appeared I called zanjero Terry. He discovered that the people up-ditch (who hadn't signed up for water this time, thus the reason Tom had to to the main gates) still had their gates set "as if" (and are out of town.)
While we will be credited for the loss of an hour's worth of water, because we have to let the water go at the the original prescribed time it means the front yard (last in line, but with that vitally important shade tree) will not get a drink.
