Block # 2 is complete (and Block #3 is cut out and ready to sew)

 so it looks like I am on a roll!

In other good news 

the irrigation schedule posted & we do not have to do the gates on 35th Ave. 

Tom, however, experienced an incredibly frustrating morning.  

The pain center called because there is some issue getting his medical records from his PCP before Monday's much awaited (and desperately needed) appointment.  

When Tom had called that office yesterday to request the records be sent, they did have him in their system.  But when he called them back today to try to straighten out the snafu, they couldn't seem to "find" him.  

I don't have the details 

because Tom was so (understandably) upset he "didn't want to talk about it."

And as for whether his appointment can actually take place Monday, he has no idea.
