I'm still waiting on delivery of the Organics can so I can finish getting rid of the remaining piles of leaves I raked out of the tree trough.  When I was raking back there the other day, Sampson (the youngest of their five boys) sat on the fence dividing our properties and said he'd like to jump in my pile.

A friend in Minnesota just posted "and so it begins."

Wonder how he'll react to my news about triple digits here?  

While we do complain about the long, hot summer here (and really, who wouldn't?) I still choose it over Old Man Winter!  (Had enough of that my first 25 years to last me a lifetime!)
