Things have been happily growing around here, the status quo for this time of year.  After Tom mowed everything yesterday he also trimmed the bushes out front.  While I've been trimming/shaping them periodically, he gave them a more substantial cut.

All the other greenery out front had also taken off madly, and with my knee issues it's been a while since I did anything about them.  Once Tom trimmed the "grownups" it made the other plants look even shaggier.

So this morning I got to work trimming, though I only hacked back a couple of plants before deciding to take a break. The others will simply have to wait their turn, and then I'll snap the "after" photos.

Now time for breakfast while I do the WP crossword puzzle.
