I took advantage of our 'cool' morning to finish up one of the cracks in the driveway. Brownie, of course, was invited to help me.  At one point he disappeared, and when I found him <g> in the bushes I ended up rescuing this pretty fledgling from him.  It didn't seem to be hurt, thank goodness, but though it flapped its wings valiantly it obviously doesn't know how to fly yet.  I'm wondering what it is, and will ask my 'bird people'.
