After yesterday's early wake-up I once again faded early last evening.  I only managed to put off bedtime until around 9:30, and was asleep before 10.  At least I was able to drift back asleep this morning when I first opened my eyes (again at 4:30) until a more reasonable 6:00.

Marilyn and Don have certainly been busy at the ranch!

Most of the plants are in now and our vegetable garden is doing well so far. Cherry and full size tomatoes, squash, green beans, peppers both sweet and hot, eggplant, basil, sage, mint, and oregano.

Originally I was scheduled to fly to Maryland yesterday, and this morning should have been heading over to Riderwood to spend the day with Mom.

But sometimes Life throws you curves...

Of course I'm not the only one who has had to cancel plans (duh!), and given what MANY are experiencing these days (!!!)  my postponed trip is in not a crisis.

  

Just hoping that my (eventual) visit to see Mom can happen soon.
