Did more binding while ‘helping’ Tom watch football (it was quite an exciting game) but soon moved the quilt off the couch so I could stretch out for a much-needed cat nap.

I’ll work on it more tomorrow, when Marcie and Perri come over to sew.   We changed the plan after I got a distressing e-mail about Jack from Mary this afternoon.

Just returned from Urgent Care with Jack. Cough, weakness etc. X-ray clearly showed lesions. Next stop the oncologist tomorrow.  So sorry I have to cancel our get together.

I had planned to call the tree trimmers tomorrow and try to reschedule, but checking the calendar I discovered that they’re not due here for another week.  So at least we have a chance to dry out by then...
