I worked on my scrap quilt this morning, and got the fourth side made and attached. Now all it needs is the final border and then it can go to Cindy for quilting!
Marcie had offered to press my quilt, so I got Brownie ready to walk up there. He, however, was not at all cooperative <sigh> so Marcie and Latina walked down to escort him over there. And then he no sooner walked in their door when he lifted his leg on a quilt draped over the couch to dry after its recent laundering.
So it was back into the washer for her quilt
before Marcie got to work on mine.
While I knew that pressing would help my quilt, I was stunned and amazed at just how much! It took a while, so I owe Marcie big time. Not only is the center now nice and flat now, but Marcie also managed to 'erase' the little tucks she found here and there in the white sashings. Now it's quite reasonably square, though we wrinkled it some handling it to put it up on the wall.
