Mark arrived around dinner last night. He and Karen had been in Santa Fe, visiting friends and going to the opera, upon their recent return from Portugal. Karen was flying back to NY for one day of work today (doing the producer a favor) but there was some issue with her connection in Chicago. Long story short: she had to fly to LA instead, and then take the red-eye to NY, schedules to arrive at 5:30 this morning. Turns out she didn't get back to the apartment until 8:00 (though she did get "a good four hours of sleep" on the plane) and had to be at work by 11:00. That wouldn't be enough sleep for me, but Mark says she needs very little. Kind of like when Alex said he'd "sleep on Tuesday."
Mark hand-fed the hummers this morning, though due to the reflection in the window my pix did not turn out well at all. So he will just have to do it again.
Lovely soak at the Party Pool (chatted with volunteer from Fayetteville, who remembered my name from our lengthy conversations last year but I'm blanking on his) and then got a little sun by the swimming pool.
A few bumper stickers and decals have missed their 15-seconds of fame, so I thought I'd remedy that now. This first one was on a car with a Colorado license plate, though it was bought from a Texas dealership.
And this one is for Tyga:
