Mary went along with me this afternoon to pick up my quilt - and the photo did not even begin to do justice to it.  Jessica did a truly outstanding job, and I am beyond happy with the way it turned out!

I may have to enter it in the upcoming quilt show after all...

On the way home we stopped at 35th Ave.; I wanted to get some blue fabric to match the inner border so I can make the binding.   But (for some unexplained reason) they had closed at 3:00 today and we'd missed our opportunity by about half an hour.  

We then tried TOQS, but since Sherri couldn't match the color it looks like I'll be driving back to 35th Ave. tomorrow.

Alex joined us for dinner, and we heard about his high-flying trip to Vail.
