My MRI is done, and the doctor should have the results in a day or so. 

I'm just hoping that the medical staff at Sun Imaging is better at their job than the office staff, who (once again) demonstrated their considerable lack of competency today.

On the drive home I stopped for gas, and at $3.50/gallon it was a pricier-than-usual fill-up.

After a lunch of smoked brisket I called Firestone to make an appointment for an oil change, and it worked out to go right in.  With a full tank of gas and nice new oil the car is now reasonably happy, though I did come home with some "recommendations" for other maintenance...
