I am back home, but did NOT have my MRI done.  

Apparently there was some sort of snafu with my insurance ("they couldn't match up the number") which obviously was the reason for yesterday's call.  

I will just hope that the issue, whatever it is, 

gets sorted out before my rescheduled appointment next Tuesday.

Sadly it means there will be another week of unproductive waiting....
