FYI the package did contain one yard of black Dinky Dots.  

In other related sewing 'good news', yesterday I found the MIA glue stick when I pulled out the (mostly unused) chair from the far side of my sewing table, and there it was on the seat, waiting patiently.  

 As I discovered this morning after my initial swipe, the tube is now virtually empty.  

At least I found another use for those fat-headed pins, and was able to scoop out enough to smear a dab on the papers and finish getting them ready!
