The finished placemats are now in the mail, along with the other remaining family package that needed to go out.  Naturally I was feeling pretty good about that, but when I got home and checked my e-mail that relieved feeling quickly evaporated.  

It turns out that Mom has not been feeling well for several days, and today ended up being hospitalized.  Her list of symptoms mirror those that landed her in the hospital last time, when her stay there and in rehab afterward ended up lasting four long months! 

Hope she bounces back a whole lot faster this time!

Of course the idea of having to be in any type of group facility

 during the pandemic is quite worrisome.
