Alex joined me for dinner last night (some of the leftover salmon, the cilantro rice I had picked up at Sprouts, and the remaining Wildflower salad from lunch) before he headed off to Payson for some party happening today.

At dawn's early light this morning I stuffed the second trash can with all the purple bush Alex had finished off yesterday, and then attacked the lantana 'forest' impeding the pathway outside the gate to the back yard.  The resulting pile of greenery will have to wait until the trash cans get emptied tomorrow, but at least now we should have an easier time getting the mower into the front yard.

After a dip in the pool to cool off (HAH!) while guiding Creepy to some of the leftover dirt he keeps missing it's back outside for more trimming before Tuesday's irrigation.  Also hope to get some mowing done for the same reason.

Never did make it over to Marcie's yesterday to continue with fabric cutting, and today's plans to do that are on hold because of some out-of-town family issues she needs to deal with (of course never easy to do that at a distance.)  So once I run out <as if!> of outdoor chores I may actually work on unpacking my suitcase!  

It's almost become a challenge to see how long that chore can wait!
