To avoid stress I left my gym session a few minutes early since I did not want to miss Tony. 

That turned out to be unnecessary when he didn't arrive until almost noon.  

Took him about an hour to remove the old appliances, install the new ones, and then test them for leaks.  As always, Brownie did an excellent job of supervising.

Happily there were no leaks, so now Alex is good to go!  Of course it does mean that we'll see him that much less <g> since he won't need to do his laundry over here...

The orchid tree is already losing some of its vibrancy, so I this afternoon I snapped a photo of one of the few remaining spiffy blossoms.  It is possible the tree will perk up after this afternoon's irrigation, which would be nice.
