Presents were a success from the start, starting with one "from" Pokey & Brownie.  (Hence the turtle wrapping paper which Bana included with her recent clippings.)

He really liked his new puzzle! 

The next one, from Andy & Sandy, was a little confusing at first - 

but Tom soon figured it out.  It's a mask with filter inserts.

I managed to 'trick' him about the contents of his next gift by using a large birthday bag for his Bookman's gift certificate.  He was also confused by the 'strange' amount, $72 - because he thought he was turning 73 today.

Had to set him straight! LOL 

Marilyn & Don's gift was next -

and the package contained two gifts.

The first  one was a very appropriate t-shirt:

But he was a little confused when he opened the second gift...

and sure enough upon checking we saw that that gift had been addressed to me (although the actual package only had Tom's name on it, so he's forgiven.)  And I got a couple of nice breezy tops to celebrate Tom's birthday.

Alex and Gabby brought over some goodies to share with Tom.

(Vera's obviously interested, but she's not old enough to drink.)

Alex had been looking forward to checking out the puzzle.  

It really has nice, vibrant color.

Brownie was more interested in Vera than smiling for the camera.
