Q decided to make himself scarce yesterday morning when he saw that I'd brought Brownie with me, so there was no socializing.  But at least he's got fresh water and a topped-off food bowl, and Elinor & Richard will be home today.

No antelope, owls, or hawks yesterday - but resting cows.

Some smile-worthy magnets on Elinor's fridge:

However this is my personal favorite!

Michael made more progress laying tile in Hilda's bedroom yesterday, and plans to hit it hard again today - possibly bleeding all the way into her sitting area.

Mark's luggage made the same trip they did yesterday, but Terry had called to say that somehow (?) Karen's did not.  So they ended up staying in Colorado Springs hours later than planned, until the arrival of the next flight from NY, when hopefully the situation would be remedied.  As if the day wasn't long enough for them already...

It was a pretty sunset last evening, with the sky-blue-pink colors (as always)
reminding me of Dad.

I watched the moonrise during Brownie's evening walk.  We had a clear sky (for a change) so stars were visible despite the full moon.  Heading back I was invited to sit and visit with some campers, when we enjoyed some philosophical discussions.

Karen's luggage (along with that of many other passengers, so it seems likely that one of the luggage carts made a wrong turn at the connecting airport) did finally arrive, and they were back at the house when Brownie and I returned last evening.
