After yet another hiatus, 

Michael has resumed work today on the tile floor of the addition.

Once the bathroom floor was all laid out, Michael picked up all the tiles 

so he could start on the next step, thinset...

and voila - tiles are now getting "glued" down!

However  it is abundantly clear (since I am leaving in 2 weeks) that I will not see the finished result this summer... though hopefully <g> the addition will be finished, and Hilda all moved in, by the time I return next summer!

Doug had Everson Ranch manager Sabine bring over some gladiolas 

from the garden for Terry & Neil's anniversary.   

Back in the day Roy & Faye Everson used to grow gladiolas for DWF (Denver Wholesale Florist), and she would joke that DWF stood for "Dear Weird Friends", a veiled reference to all the hippies that came to the hot springs.
