Another medical visit taken care of today, my bone density test and a chest x-ray.  Still have a few more scheduled, though that list is dwindling.

Tonight is the start of the new year, and I celebrated with apples and honey.

 However it is a sad evening because of the news of Ruth Bader Ginsberg's death today.  Incredibly, within just a few hours (!) of her passing, Mitch McConnell announced that he will put the nominated replacement to a vote in the Senate, despite refusing to do that in 2016 when Obama had a year left in his term.
